The Ibanez Company released the first “GRG-121-DX” in 2006, in order to be a more professional guitar for those who wanted to play rhythm guitar.The fix bridge on GRG-121-Dx easily lets you drop (the sct of loosening the strings on the guitar to get to lower notes) your tune in less than a minute. Having two powerful humbucker pickups, will get the lowest of notes to the ears with great clarity. But in 2016 the Ibanez Company decided to make some impressive changes to this guitar. The first one was changing the tone wood to mahogany; which not only made the sound fatter and bigger, but also made it”s tone much more exquisite. not to mention that the rosewood used for the fret board, surly adds a special heat to this combination.One of the other pleasant changes made to Ibanez GRG-121-DX was the frets; 24 jumbo frets (which are bigger than regular frets) besides making a lot of technics easier to play, have a great deal of strength too that could lead to many years of rocking, without any problem.
